ROI Perks is a small, independent team that reviews financial products, crypto tools, and money apps. We are not a content mill cranking out sponsored posts. Every review on this site involves hands-on testing with real money, and we tell you what we actually think — including when a product is not worth your time.
We focus on three things. First, we review financial products and crypto tools by signing up, funding accounts, and using the features ourselves before writing a single word. Second, we read the fine print — the promo terms, fee schedules, and risk disclosures that most people skip — and translate it into plain language. Third, we calculate the real return after fees, taxes, and hidden costs, because a headline APY means nothing if the net payout tells a different story.
Every article starts with firsthand experience. We sign up for the product, test the core features, and track the results over time. We do not publish reviews based on press releases or product demos. If we have not used it, we do not write about it.
We also update our content. Financial products change — fees get adjusted, features get added or removed, promotions expire. When something changes, we go back and revise the article rather than leaving outdated information online.
Some of the products we review offer referral or affiliate programs. When we link to a product that has one, we use those links and tell you about it upfront. This is how we fund the site. It does not change what we write — we have published negative reviews of products with affiliate programs and positive reviews of products without them. The review comes first, the link comes second.
Our reviews span five categories: crypto (DeFi yields, exchanges, wallets), traditional finance (brokerages, tax strategies), banking and cards (credit card rewards, bank bonuses), money tools (apps and platforms for saving and investing), and betting (sportsbook promotions and odds analysis).
